FOOUND CHARTER
Coworking spaces and creative communities in Geneva
This charter has been created to clarify and articulate our vision and core values at FOOUND, in order to create a stronger, more connected community. It defines the principles that guide us in our mission to provide an inclusive, stimulating and creative space for our members and our wider community in Geneva.
Multidisciplinarity
FOOUND is more than just a coworking space in Geneva. We're home to a diverse range of professionals, offering workshops, courses and a multitude of events to energize and sustain our creative community.
Promotion & collaboration
It's an incubator of creativity, dedicated to promoting emerging artists and independents by giving them the means to market and showcase their creations. It aims to stimulate collaborations and nourishing exchanges. Events are organized on a regular basis to raise the profile of the space and its occupants (vernissages, designer's market, pop-up store, workshops, etc.) within the context of Geneva's cultural landscape.
Tolerance & openness
Foound aims to be an inclusive, tolerant and collaborative environment. The events offered are open to all, and their price must be affordable. The fields of activity can be culture, creation, training, well-being, esotericism, etc. Events can be commercial or non-commercial. The space is intended to be intergenerational and synonymous with social diversity. It aims to encourage exchanges around local entrepreneurial and creative projects.
Harmonious cohabitation
Foound is committed to egalitarian relationships that respect differences. Its core values include cooperation, tolerance and discussion. Another essential principle is cohabitation and non-exclusivity of activities. It's essential to respect each other's activities, particularly by making sure you don't cause any noise pollution. At the same time, Foound remains a meeting place where events aimed at the general public are organized, which occasionally leads to noise during certain slots and the circulation of outsiders on the premises during Foound's opening hours.
Hybrid identity
Its identity is rooted in underground and alternative culture. With this in mind, Foound's communications are designed to be offbeat. Initiatives such as Radio Foound aim to promote local artists. Its partnerships can go off the beaten track.
Low environmental impact
In order to reduce its environmental footprint, Foound :
Involvement in the local community :
More than 50% of our suppliers are local; our purchases are made by bicycle or cargo bike.
At least 75% of our customers are involved in the local economy and culture, or in social solidarity in Geneva.
Responsible policy :
We follow a responsible policy in terms of energy consumption, waste sorting and limiting food waste. Last but not least, Foound furnishes its premises with second-hand furniture.
Social solidarity & professional reintegration
We offer discounts and free admission to non-profit or limited-profit events, with the aim of supporting under-represented minorities, emerging artists and non-profit associations. We have a policy of supporting people in professional reintegration.
Our certifications, labels and partners
Foound is renowned for its commitment to quality, ethics and sustainability, a reputation attested by the numerous certifications and labels it has obtained over the years.
